These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ThrillLedger(the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
ThrillLedger helps you track theme park visits, rides, trips, stats, and related personal records. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn without notice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You may create an account with email and password, or join via a family invite link when invited.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate others' rights.
- Attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours, bypass security, or probe our systems.
- Upload malware, spam, or abusive content.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as allowed by law.
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
Park names, attraction names, and catalog data in the Service may be descriptive references; we do not claim affiliation with park operators unless explicitly stated.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the visit logs, notes, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a Pro, Companion, or Family plan. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable. To move to a lower-priced plan, cancel your current subscription and subscribe again after that period ends. Tier upgrades within the Service may be prorated as described at checkout. Complimentary ("comped") TL Passholder access may be offered at our discretion; if you also subscribe and later cancel paid billing, comped access may resume for your account. Trials, comped access, prices, and features may change with reasonable notice.
6. Family and shared features
If you join or create a family group, you understand that certain visit or pass information may be visible to other members according to the feature design. You are responsible for whom you invite and what you share.
7. Beta disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE OPERATION. USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK, INCLUDING WHEN LOGGING RIDES OR MAKING DECISIONS AT A PARK.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US $50.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the beta. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms with an updated date. Material changes may be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory local law applies. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
